Laying guidelines

Methods for dust suppression.

For effective dust suppression, it is essential to select the most suitable product and application technique based on the soil type and climatic conditions. Envirokleen® and Soil Sement® offer advanced solutions for dust control, ensuring long-term stability and durability. Below are the application procedures and specifications for each product to achieve optimal results.

Envirokleen®: spraying method and application procedures

  • Envirokleen® should not be diluted in water. It is not recommended to apply the product during rainfall or if a heavy downpour has occurred in the last 24 hours, as excessive water in the soil may cause saturation, runoff, and product loss. For the same reason, the application intensity should be gradually reduced until the product is fully absorbed, depending on the type of soil being treated.
  • Prepare the surface by grading and leveling the aggregate to create a uniform surface with a central crown to facilitate water drainage.
  • For application, use a tanker truck equipped with a spray bar and suitable nozzles to ensure even distribution across the entire surface.
  • Apply the product evenly in multiple passes, avoiding pooling or runoff.
  • The application speed and nozzle settings can be adjusted as needed. Applying the product in several thin layers ensures uniform coverage and adequate penetration without forming puddles or surface stagnation.
  • Immediately after application, the surface should appear uniformly wet, without streaks.

Soil Sement®: spraying method and application procedures

  • SOIL SEMENT® ENGINEERED FORMULA should be diluted in water at a ratio ranging from 1:1 to 1:20 (product:water), depending on climatic conditions, soil moisture, and project requirements.
